Update: MAVS has been assigned the late warmup period.

Assignments are for Friday, Saturday and Sunday Prelims sessions only. Friday and Saturday Prelims Arrive and be ready to get in no later than 7:15am Late Session warmups begin promptly at7:25am

Sunday Prelims Arrive and be ready to get in no later than 8:15am Late Session: 8:25am-9:00am

Relay only swimmers: Friday: All realys are in prelims Arrive no later than 11:00am Relays should begin between 12:00pm and 12:15pm

Saturday: 11-12 BOYS "A" 400MR IS SWIMMING IN FINALS and 13-14 BOYS "A" 400MR IS SWIMMING IN FINALS. All other relays are in prelims and should begin between 12:15pm and 12:45pm with 13-14 relays beginning 1:00 to 1:30pm Relays swimming in finals should check with your coaches for warmup times.

Sunday: 11-12 BOYS "A" 400MR IS SWIMMING IN FINALS. All other realys are in prelims and should arrive no later than 11:30am.  11-12 Relays should begin between 12:45pm and 1:15pm with 13-14 relays beginning 1:30 to 2:00pm. Relays swimming in finals should check with your coaches for warmup times.

Senior Women Week of 02/20/12

Senior Swimmers,

As we approach the last meets of our season, practices will be shortened, and our schedule will be changing. Although we won't be in the water for the entirety of each practice, we will be using the entire amount of time allotted for each practice. This week we will be fine tuning our strokes and race strategies, as well as working on relaxation techniques and visualization of our races.

Our schedule for this week is as follows: Monday - 7:30-9:00 @ NCC Tuesday - 6:15-7:30 @ NNHS Wednesday - 7:00-8:30 @ NCC Thursday - 6:00-7:30 @ NCC Friday - 6:30-7:30 @ NNHS Saturday - Regional Swim Meet @ Neuqua Valley High School Sunday - Regional Swim Meet @ Neuqua Valley High School

Remember to stay hydrated and well rested to ensure fast swims at your final meet!

Congratulations to the senior women who swam fast at the Fox meet this past weekend. We are approaching the final few practices prior to our season-ending meets. For those swimming at Feed The Fire this weekend (Feb. 18-19 @ Oswego East High School), it is our final week of practices. Regional Qualifiers will have two more weeks of swimming leading to Regionals Feb. 24-26 at Neuqua Valley High School. Stay healthy, happy and hydrated to ensure fast swimming at our championship meets!

Senior Women Week of 02/06/12

Senior Women Swimmers,

Welcome to the last few weeks of the season! Those whose last meet is Feed the Fire will begin resting this week, while Regional swimmers will begin resting next week. This upcoming weekend (February 10-12) is Fox's Winter Classic at Neuqua Valley High School. We will be focusing on fast swimming this week and remember that when we sprint off the blocks at practice, it's a great opportunity to practice our race strategies (turn-over rate, breathing off the walls, underwater kicks).

Here are a few tips to maximize your taper: 1) Get plenty of sleep/rest 2) Stay hydrated 3) Save energy where you can (gym class will NOT hurt your taper!)
